Twirl-a-Ring
A Better Way To Make Jump Rings
The Problem:
Making jump rings, which are small, wire rings used to link elements of jewelry, is usually a time-consuming and costly endeavor. Pre-made jump rings in gold, silver or other metals can be very expensive. On the other hand, making the rings oneself can be very tedious because conventional tapered mandrels only make one jump ring of a particular size at a time.
Davison's Better Way:
We created the Twirl-a-Ring, a unique three-stage mandrel that can make three sizes of jump rings with one convenient tool, saving time, effort and money. The one-piece unit has three sizes of mandrel so it can make multiple rings in the most common sizes: 3 mm, 5 mm and 7 mm. It also works with 12 to 26 gauge wire in silver, gold, copper, aluminum and plastic coated. The tool is easily machinable and connects to any power drill.
