Everyday Idea People make a difference

Where would the world be without everyday Idea People who took the steps to transform their ideas into products? Our history is the story of Idea People who created everything from paper clips to rocket ships. These people will be remembered for their innovative contributions. Most of our heroic innovators were everyday people who worked as truck drivers, painters, hairdressers, salespeople, or a couple of bicycle mechanics like the Wright Brothers, who invented the airplane. In other words, everyday people with new ideas can make a difference.

Another everyday Idea Person

In 1986, Mr. Davison, like many Idea People, had several ideas for new products. One was to prevent toothbrush germs from spreading and getting everyone in his family sick. After spending over two years and exhausting a significant sum of money trying to bring his idea to life, a major corporation beat him to the market with the same idea. He was beaten to the market by that corporation because they had a method for building new products quickly and a way to get them to the market. It was at that moment that he decided to create a company for Idea People like himself who were in need of a method like the one major corporations use to produce ideas. His idea was to create a better way to invent that would benefit future generations of Idea People.

It took years and years of experimentation to figure out the best ways to build ideas into products. He had failures and successes that taught him how to do things. In time, he invented the world’s first affordable inventing method for everyday people like himself. Recognizing his achievement, Entrepreneur Magazine called him a “Creative Genius”. Today, it is called the Davison® Inventing Method.

George Davison with products

The Davison Inventing method has built more ideas into consumer, industrial and medical products than any other company in the industry."

Our clients’ ideas and our own ideas have sold in online stores such as Amazon and the Apple App Store, as well as, the store shelves of retail giants such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bed Bath & Beyond, Cabela’s, Auto Zone, Target, Sears, Walgreens, Toys R Us, PetSmart and many more. Additionally, they have also been featured in many mail order, and Industrial catalogs and magazines, such as JC Penney, Sky Mall, Home Trends, Get Organized, and Home Focus, to name a few.

Each product or package we designed began as an idea that went through the Davison® method.

Once the ideas were built into products or packaging samples, corporations wanted to sell them. So, we put agreements in place to allow the corporations to make and sell the products, or use the package design, as long as they pay our client each time one is sold. Our products have been seen on TV networks, such as QVC, ABC, CBS, and CNBC, as well as being featured in newspapers and magazines such as BusinessWeek, ID Magazine and Innovation Magazine.

The DAVISON® Inventing Method has built ideas into products in the following categories:

You can see the smiles on the Idea People who choose the Davison Inventing Method.

You can see some of the Idea People who trusted us with their idea posing with their successful products. It’s an amazing experience to have an idea in your head and then to actually hold it in your hands. There is a real sense of accomplishment when you build an idea into a product. Each one has a story that starts with someone who has an idea, someone who is determined to chase the dream, who has hope, who is willing to face disappointment, and who is trying to make a difference in this world. The stories of Idea People are something their children and grandchildren will tell one day to inspire their own children. We are inspired by the creative spirit and determination that lives inside Idea People.
